About Me/Contact

I want to start by saying welcome to my blog! I don't know how you stumbled upon it, but here you are! And apparently, you want to learn more about me. So here we go. :)

The Name

First off, we should talk about the name. RunPrincipessa, you say? "Amanda," you say, "you aren't Italian in the least bit!" No, no I am not. But I did study abroad in Rome the fall semester of my junior year of college. Look in August-December of 2011 posts for that! Or in my Trips tab!

I'm also obsessed with the move Life is Beautiful. I watch it as often as I can. I really suggest you watch it. It's sad, but absolutely wonderful. My friends and I love to shout Buongiorno Principessa at Disney world because of it. But that's because we're nuts.

Secondly, I like to run. I yearn to be good at it. It clears my mind and I love the challenge! So there you have the full name description! I like fitness in general. It goes beyond liking, if we're being honest here. I used to be a theater major, but I switched to Kinesiology on the Exercise and Sport Science track so I could pursue my passion. I'm lucky in that way!

I started this blog to chronicle my journeys abroad, but it's grown into a Fitness and Healthy Living Blog. I am obsessed with learning everything I can about the field and I love sharing it with people too. So I hope this grows and evolves into a blog that people can come to for that. And a little craziness on the side. :)

Everything Else

Basically, I'm a crazy person who likes to try anything at least once. I use up all of my energy stores for the day, I can promise you that. I dance my heart out as often as possible and am now the captain of InMotion Dance Ensemble at Temple. I love those girls more than anything.

I also have a nutcase of a boyfriend. I say this because he's crazy enough to put up with this girl. You'll probably hear about him every once in a while, so it's only fair that he gets a nice little introduction. Boys and girls, this is Paul!
